So good to have Mr La Paz – Jose Miguel de Abreu – drop by on a recent tour of London.
His Portuguese brand currently supply us with tees, tops and fleece hoodies: thick body warmers that come in green and blue, which is unsurprising given that La Paz designs are and always have been influenced by the Atlantic.
Jose hinted that a future collection will be influenced by the Azores, a trip that he has in the pipeline, with co-founder and friend, André Bastos Texeira. The Portuguese island is a geological hotspot of volcanic islands, dramatic landscapes, fishing villages, green pastures and hedgerows of blue hydrangea… we look forward to seeing the fruits.
